Please provide as much detail as possible about your party, event or celebration. Please allow up to 48 hours for us to respond (during October-January, we may take a little longer to get back to you during the peak party season!) - please note minimum styling fees apply in November & December, minimum $3,500 plus GST).

Planning way ahead? We get it.

We know some people LOVE to get their party planning sorted early (we see you, organised people). But because we work on lots of fabulous parties throughout the year, we intentionally only take on detailed planning and bookings within 6 months of your party date. And no, it’s not because we don’t want to do your party. Quite the opposite! We’re big believers that great parties take time, attention, creativity and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes love. With multiple celebrations happening at once, we want to make sure every client gets the attention they deserve — rather than having your party sitting on a very long to-do list for months and months. So, if your party is more than 6 months away, don’t panic. We’re very happy to pop your date into our diary and contact you when you’re around the 6-month mark. That’s when we’ll be ready to get stuck in, start planning and make some party magic happen. In the meantime, save your inspo, build that Pinterest board, talk themes with your friends and get excited. We’ll see you when the party is closer!

A lot depends on much help you need - how much you want to do yourself, and how much time you have to commit to planning your party. As a dedicated party planner, we’re here to make the process as easy as possible, stress-free, and hopefully fun! How much does it cost to plan a party?

It depends on the size and style of the event. We don't have a set price list as we know most people want something different and special.

As a guide, if you want to host say 50 guests at home for your 40th birthday party - prices can vary widely depending on your style, priorities, and whether you’re hiring help or doing a bit of DIY - but we recommend you work on around $200 per person if your looking for a chic and elegant party. This amount could include food, drinks, wait & bar staff, furniture hire, set up and styling, party planner and entertainment.

If you're after a low key, mostly DIY party, then we suggest you budget for around $100 per person.

Planning a party can be overwhelming, especially if you're juggling work, family or other responsibilities. As a party planner, we can handle all the details and logistics - allowing you to relax and enjoy the event without worrying about the behind the scenes stuff.

Can you assist me save money on my party?

When you’re hosting a party and trying to keep costs down, hiring a party planner planner might seem like an unnecessary expense. But it’s not!

At My Perfect Party once we know what your budget is, we’ll try and do everything we can to work within it. With our experience we can recommend where you can save some money and reduce costs on items you may not need.

We have excellent relationship with our suppliers across Australia, we’ll ask if they can work with us on price to meet your budget - we’ll also try and pass on any industry discounts we get from our suppliers.

Since 2015, we've built committed and passionate teams of Party Planners, Co-ordinators, Event Decorator & Stylists across Australia. Our business is full time for us, it's not a hobby or a part time gig - it's what we do everyday - which gives us the time to really focus on our clients.

Owner Allison Barrett has over 30 year's event experience - a true professional at what she does (but doesn't forget to have some fun along the way!) What areas do you service?

Whilst most of our jobs are within 20-40km of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast – we will travel to other locations, including Mornington Peninsular & Surf Coast (Victoria), Hunter Valley, Central Coast and South Coast (NSW), Redcliffe to Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast to Byron/Tweed (Qld).

What services do you offer?

We offer as much or as little support you need! From full party/event management to sourcing invitations, catering, entertainment, wait and bar staff. We also design and implement lighting productions and so much more. No request is too big or too small.

Do you have a price list?

We specialise on creating unique and individual parties – specific to your needs and budget. We have some ‘standard’ packages that we can build on. However, there’s not specific pricelist. Contact us to discuss your needs and we’ll put together a quotation for you!

You are Australia wide, so who handles my party?

After your initial enquiry, you will be assigned one of our specialist Senior Party Planners. After accepting our initial quote your Party Planner will liaise with your local Party Co-ordinator and Stylist and make a time to meet you at your home or venue. From there your Party Planner and Co-ordinator will liaise and do all the behind the scenes work to create and deliver your perfect party! Your main point of contact is your Party Planner.

So, regardless of what state your party is being held you will be in safe hands!
